What makes GPOD special?
A cradle-free magnetic head, so your phone snaps on and off one-handed — no clamp to fight, no dropped phone. And a pointed end that stakes straight into the ground and holds, whatever the wind is doing.
We build each model in the material it actually needs: lightweight carbon fiber on the GPOD and GPOD X, where shaving every ounce matters most, and aircraft-grade aluminum alloy on the Pauly P, Studio 2.0, Travel and Pocket G, where adjustability and all-day durability lead.
Which phones work with the magnetic mount?
All of them. iPhone 12 and newer with MagSafe snap straight on with nothing added. Android phones and older iPhones use the 3M metal plates included with every purchase — stick one on your phone or case and it's just as magnetic.
Does it work with a thick case, iPad, or GoPro?
Thick or non-MagSafe cases: put an included metal plate on the case and you're set. iPads and tablets: yes — our magnets hold devices up to 3.5 lbs (we recommend the Studio 2.0 for larger iPads). GoPro and cameras: every magnetic head has a universal 1/4" camera thread.
Will the magnet hurt my phone or iPad?
Nope. Our magnetic heads are perfectly safe for phones and tablets.
How much does the GPOD weigh? Will it fit in my golf bag?
The original GPOD weighs about 8 ounces — a sleeve of 6 golf balls. Every monopod is designed to ride in a standard golf bag; the GPOD X collapses to 20 inches specifically for bag carry. Exact lengths and weights are on each product page and the compare page.
What does the remote do?
The Bluetooth remote pairs with your phone in seconds and starts/stops recording from address — no walking back and forth to your camera between swings. Pairing steps are in our Support & Guides hub.
What's in the Sportsbox 3D bundle?
The bundle pairs a GPOD Travel tripod with a full year of Sportsbox 3D — an app that turns your swing videos into 3D body-movement data. Redemption instructions are in Support & Guides.
Can I use GPOD for things besides golf?
Absolutely. Customers use GPOD for baseball, football, soccer, hiking, beach days, travel, and content creation of every kind. If you point a camera at it, GPOD can hold the camera.
Can I use the magnetic head on other tripods?
Yes — the patent-pending magnetic heads have a universal 1/4" camera thread in the back, so they screw onto any standard tripod or monopod.
Do you ship internationally? How fast?
We ship worldwide. In-stock orders placed on a business day are packed and shipped within 1 business day; shipping costs are calculated at checkout, and you'll get tracking by text or email.
What is your return policy and warranty?
If you're not satisfied, we make it right — see Shipping & Returns for the full policy. GPODs are guaranteed to last: if something breaks, contact us and we'll repair or replace it, and most small parts (remotes, knobs, magnets) can be replaced individually.
