đ¨How to hit chips on slopesđ¨
Itâs all about the setup!
When youâre on an upslope, the ball with fly higher and softer so keep that in mind when choosing your club. Angle your shoulders along the plane of the slope. Setup with your lead foot back. This levels out your hips and gives you more balance and stability in the swing. All thereâs left to do is swing your normal approach swing along the slope.
On a downslope you do the opposite. Setup with your shoulders angled downwards and take your trail foot back. Again, this levels out the hips and gives you more stability and balance on the downslope lies. Take a higher lofted club as the downslope with deloft the club!
