What it fixes

Filming alone, solved

Stake it, snap your phone on, hit balls. No leaning your phone against a bag and hoping, no asking the next bay for a favor.

Set up between shots, not between sessions

The mount is a magnet, not a cradle — your phone goes on and comes off one-handed. Filming a swing costs you seconds.

Footage that holds still

The stake goes into the turf and stays there. On mats, tile or a sim floor, add the GPOD Base 2.0 and it sits just as planted.

Lives in your golf bag

Goes in with the clubs and comes out ready. Nothing to assemble, no legs to unfold, nothing to level.

Trusted On Tour

You'll find GPOD in countless bags on the PGA Tour from pros to coaches and creators.

Lifetime Warranty

We guarantee that your GPOD will last as long as you need it to.

Premium Build

Built in the material each model needs — carbon fiber where every ounce counts, aircraft-grade aluminum alloy where adjustability and durability lead.

Will it work with your phone?

MagSafe GPUCK; 3 adhesive metal plates included for Android and non-MagSafe phones

iPhone with MagSafe

iPhone 12 and newer snap straight onto the GPUCK. No plate, no case swap — the magnet is the mount.

Android and older iPhones

Three metal plates with 3M adhesive are in the box. Stick one to your phone or case and it holds exactly like MagSafe does.

Tablets

Use one of the included metal plates. For a full-size iPad, the GPOD Studio 2.0 gives you a wider, steadier footing.

Cases, grips and wallets

Most cases are fine — the magnet only needs to reach through. Thick, metal-backed or heavily padded cases are the exception; stick a plate to the outside of the case and you are set.

Under a minute

How to use it

  1. Plant it

Push the stake into the turf until it feels firm — a few inches is plenty. On mats, tile or a sim floor, screw on the GPOD Base 2.0 instead.

  2. Set your height

GPOD X: a quarter turn on each cam lock, extend, turn it back. Pauly P: twist the oversized ring and slide. The original GPOD is a fixed 41 in, so there is nothing to set.

  3. Snap your phone on

The GPUCK is already mounted on the ball head. An iPhone with MagSafe goes straight on; for anything else, stick one of the three included metal plates to your phone or case first.

  4. Angle it, then hit

The ball joint turns a full 360°, so you can set down-the-line, face-on or an overhead putting view and leave it there. Hit record and swing.

FAQs

YOU'VE GOT QUESTIONS, WE'VE GOT ANSWERS

What is so special about the GPOD?

GPOD makes the lightest, strongest magnetic mounts for filming your swing. The carbon fiber monopods — the original GPOD and the GPOD X — weigh under 6 oz, and every GPOD mount shares the same adjustable MagSafe magnetic head. No flimsy plastic clamps, and nothing to cradle your phone in.

What is the difference between the GPOD X and the GPOD Magsafe?

The GPOD X is a collapsible and extendable version of the GPOD. It can collapse to 20" and extend to 51" allowing the user to store in smaller bags and carry ons as well as film at different heights. The original GPOD for Magsafe is one universal length at 41". It was specifically engineered to meet most peoples' hand heights at address for optimal swing videos. The original GPOD requires minimal setup which makes it the easiest tool to film your game and content.

What is the difference between the GPOD and the GPOD X?

Both are carbon fiber monopods with the same magnetic head and the same pointed end that stakes into the ground. The difference is how they pack: the original GPOD is a single fixed 41 in piece, while the GPOD X is three pieces with a quarter-turn cam lock, collapsing to 20 in for a golf bag pocket and extending to 51 in. Pick the GPOD for the simplest setup, the GPOD X if it has to travel.
